The institute of Integrated Rural Health, Development and Training Center (IRHDTC) is a service oriented non-profit private organization established in 1993 by high-level policy makers, medical personnel, program managers and academic leaders engaged in population and human development in Nepal and outside. The scope and magnitude of the population problem in various parts of Nepal where it is most acute, is aggravated by the lack of human and financial resources to address it. There is a need for sustained national leadership in many of the districts that have insufficient professional and institutional capacity to conduct policy analysis, to design, manage and evaluate programs, and to maintain the political will to intervene.

*The 5 days community level "Adult Learning Training Program" commenced from 27 February, 2012. The first batches of trainings were conducted in 3 VDCs starting from lower belts of Rasuwa namely, Dhaibung, Yarsa and Laharepouwa. Besides FCHV, all health workers were involved in the FCHV training on 4th and 5th days to provide them basic orientation about the program. A three membered support team comprising of 3 best performing FCHV during the community level training was formed in each VDCs for supporting the FCHVs to conduct drama based mothers group activities.
