 "Community based Newborn Care Program" in Dang

Providing technical assistance to UNICEF/Nepal to conduct CB-NCP community level training in Dang Districts, 2009. This is a pilot project which is currently being implemented in Dang district. The duration of the project is of 15 months which started from September,2009. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Trainings on Reproductive Health and other health issues:

IRHDTC/Nepal with its team of experienced public health facilitators, has been assigned the task of facilitating the four different types of trainings to People Liberation Army (PLA) health workers by GTZ/STPP since July, 2009 in all 6 division cantonments including reproductive health trainings, family planning trainings, epidemiology and communicable disease management training and Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses Training with a view to increase their basic knowledge and skill competencies ultimately improving the quality of the health service delivery inside all cantonments.

Training and Education
As a part of its new endeavor and culmination of its experience, IRHDTC is developing short term training programs in its field of specialization and experience to individuals who want to update their skills and as a part of capacity development and carrier advancement. Currently, IRHDTC is developing short courses on the following areas which are extremely flexible and are subjected to modification based on the requirement of individuals and organizations.

-Monitoring and Evaluation
-Maternal and Child Health (Focusing MNC, IMCI and MCP interventions)
-Reproductive Health- Package
-Behaviour Change Communication
-Hygiene and Sanitation
